Woodson Capital Partners, LP is a fundamental, global long/short equity fund founded by Jim Davis in January 2010 and seeded by Tiger Management. Woodson has historically maintained low net exposure and has driven high-quality, uncorrelated returns through a combination of both long and short alpha.
The Fund invests opportunistically across geographies, market capitalizations, and industries. Several key values underpin idea generation: 1) invest in what you know and search globally; 2) seek out situations where changing dynamics are misunderstood; and 3) maintain a culture of constant learning, intellectual curiosity, and skepticism.

ABOUT WOODSON CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, LP
James W. Davis is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Woodson Capital. Prior to founding Woodson Capital, Mr. Davis worked as an Equity Analyst at Tiger Management and Venesprie Capital, a Tiger-seeded long/short equity fund. Mr. Davis graduated with a BA in History and a minor in Mathematics from Davidson College and received an MS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Wake Forest University.
